This week has been crazy! Okay, so maybe not as crazy as you would think from that statement, but it was a tad hectic.
It started off normal. Monday was just like any other Monday, boring and lame. Tuesday is when everything got wound up. I finally got my tax money and decided to get my car fixed instead of getting a newer used car. So, I took my car to the shop after work Tuesday. I really just took it in to get it looked at to see how much it was going to cost first.
They check it out and get me a total on Wednesday. They quoted me $990. Okay, Fix it up! I tell them. Though, they had already fixed the A.C. without asking. So no matter what I was going to owe them something for the car. Well, they tell me it should be done Thursday. YAY! I'm going to have my car as good as new.
Thursday I get home from work and wait for the call telling my car is ready. No call. So my mom calls them and they tell me it should be ready in a little bit. Now, I live about 45 minutes away from the place so me and my mom head out to go pick up my car. We get there and the guy says "Bad News." Great! I love bad news! I had also added an oil change Wednesday so my total was now up to $1022
Evidently one of the NEW parts they put on it wasn't working. Just like new things...they never work right. I decide while I am there I want them to go ahead and put new tires on and a front end alignment. I might as well get it all done at one time and while I have the money. The mechanic figures up the cost of the tires and the alignment and quotes me another $390. Okay, I got this, let's do it. I was told it would be ready today.
Today after work I ask my mom if my car was ready yet. She hadn't heard anything so we were still waiting. I get home and what about an hour and we find out my car is ready. YAY! BUT! Oh yeah, here it comes! When they changed my tires they found something ELSE wrong with the car. Ugh! So they fixed it. That is just fantastic, let's keep adding to the bill.
I go to pick up the car and hand over my bank account plus an arm and a leg. Not really. My final total was $1500. Which is great! My car is pretty much new...engine wise anyways. Now, I just have to get a new headliner, a paint job, and hopefully a new radio. But...I have less than $500 bucks to do all that. LUCKILY! I have some friends that paint cars so, fingers crossed I can get it done cheap.
I am so glad it is Friday! I got my car back, going bowling tomorrow night and Church on Sunday. Woot for weekends. But for the rest of the night, I shall play Sims 3 since my computer is letting me play!
Much Love,
Heather

5 Reasons it Sucks to Work Full Time
Today I realized something. Sometimes, having a full time job sucks.
With this thought I decided to put together a list of reasons why.
1. Most people spend about 17 hours a day awake. With a full time job you spend at least 8 of those hours at work. For me, I spend an hour getting ready, 30 - 45 minutest to get to work and 30 - 45 getting back home. There is already 10 hours of my day.
2. If you work first shift, like I do, you get off work just in time to rush to get things done before everything closes up. I get off work around 4 everyday, take in the time to drive, the fact that banks and offices close at 5...it's a rush to get anything done. (Luckily my mom helps me out.)
3. Not many doctors offices or dentist stay open past 5 or 6 pm. So if you have medical issues you have to miss work. Missing work means one of two things, (1) You miss out on those few hours of money. (2) You have to stay even later the rest of the week to make up for it. Not cool.
4. By the time you get home you are so tired you can't do much of anything. This may just be me...but once I get home I am whooped. Today I came home from work not realizing how tired I was. I sat to watch a little T.V. to chill out, I woke up two hours later. I so did not mean to fall asleep.
5. All day you think about ALL the things you could be doing if you were at home or not tied to a desk.
So there you go. The 5 reasons it sucks to have a full time job.
Tomorrow I will give you the 5 reasons it rocks to have a full time job. Cause every negative thing usually has at least one positive thing to counter it.
To all you full time employees out there, I feel your pain, but I love the money!
Much Love,
Heather

Stupid Cops! (part 2)
If you have been following my blog then you remember this blog: Stupid cops! and if you don't then...go read that and come back. Don't worry, I will wait.
....waiting.....waiting...
Done!
I had someone that thought they could get the ticket taken care of. Then I wouldn't have to pay and I wouldn't have more points taken off my license ( I just got two taken off in December for another speeding ticket.) But the cop was a douche! He told them for me to come in on my court date, which was today at 4pm, and talk to him and he would see what he could do for me.
I got off work early today. Did the speed limit all the way to the court house, tracked down the cop and talked to him. Well guess what...HE COULDN'T HELP ME! He says he could write me a ticket for careless or reckless driving...or something like that. If I had a clear driving record I would have to pay 25 bucks MORE but it wouldn't take my points away. BUT...haha! There is always a but in things like this! With my ticket back in December he wasn't sure they would drop the 2 points. So if I went that route there was a chance that I would end up paying the extra 25 dollars AND getting 2 more points off my license.
Dear Mr. Cop...YOU SUCK MONKEY BALLS!
Sure, I shouldn't have been speeding. But he caught me as being at the end of the line of cars going over the speed limit! He was just looking for someone to meet his monthly quota. Blarg on you! I got off work early for nothing!
THEN. Yeah, there is a then! When I went to pay the ticket I had to use my debit card, because who carries cash now days? And they charged me another 3 bucks to run the card! It's funny because when the cop gave me my ticket in January he said that they were not trying to take my money, they just wanted me to slow down. Again, Dear Mr. Cop, you have proven yourself a liar!
Now I have to wait and see if my insurance goes up. And if it does my mom is going to make me pay the difference because she can't afford it. There goes any extra spending money I may have come across on a lucky day.
I blame my lead foot! It's not my fault that the government kidnapped me in my sleep one night, filled my foot with lead and returned me to my bed before I woke up and anyone noticed I was gone. Shame on you government.
It is the American way...no the human way, to never take blame for your own actions. It is ALWAYS someone else's fault.

What to Say
For the first time in a while I have no idea what to write about. Other than the boring babble about my week. So buckle up and possibly grab a cup of tea cause I have some stuff to say.
1. I hate trying to watch tv, which I really don't do often, and my dad starts talking really loud! It's annoying during commercials and even more so when the show is actually on! He will start telling a story during a commercial and his stories are really long! They go beyond the commercials most of the time. And, my dad is so freakin noisy! Just his presence is loud. Maybe I am just tired because this week has been a bit of a strain but still...too much noise while I am trying to watch shows! That is why when I watch True Blood I watch it in my room alone.
2. I am so sick of everyone being so uptight and afraid at work because the "big man" may be watching/listening. I'm sorry but I am so not going to censor everything I say just because I might lose my job. I make simple statements that will not actually offend anyone. The other day I said something about my eyes burning because of the strong cologne in the office (more about that on #3) and my co-worker got all bent out of shape saying I need to watch what I say and that I have no idea how far over my head these guys were. Blah!
3. People bathing in their cologne or perfume. OMG! I am highly sensitive to cologne and perfume. Most of it gives me a full blown migraine. All week I have been putting up with all these "visitors" at work who decided to drown themselves in cologne. My eyes have been on fire and they feel like they are going to pop out of my head. And my head has been hurting so bad I can't focus on my work. Forgive me for being sensitive to the stuff! I can't exactly help it. I honestly think it should be against company policy to wear cologne to work. Too many people have problems with it.
4. So tired! I have PCOS which is a female issue. Evidently it is where my body has more male hormones than it should. It can cause facial hair growth (which thankfully I don't have), acne, and once I decide to have children it could cause me to have trouble having kids. Another issue that it brings is that it causes me to be tired all the time. The good news is there is medication for it. Funny, the medication is for low insulin, so it can be used for diabetes too. I haven't taken the medication but for three weeks now, the doctor tells me it may be a month before I start seeing results. I am so tired of being tired all the time!
5. Sinus infection. I am finally getting over it! Woot! It was horrible.
6. Money, money, money. Today was pay day. I had 30 bucks that I could use on myself. I have to save 10 for a concert next Friday, if I even go now. I bought a new fingernail polish tonight and I have my best friend's son's birthday coming up so I have to get him a gift. There goes all my money. Where is the rest of it? Bills. Actually, student loans. I figured it up and I am paying over 800 bucks a month on student loans. I make about 2,000 dollars a month. Then I have a few personal loans and a credit card. It was so awesome when I first started my job. I thought I had a ton of money. Then reality set in and I realized I had to pay back my student loans. Now, I am very grateful to have the money to pay my student loans, it feels good to pay them. And if things work out I will be debit free in 5 years. I am doing good so far. I don't over spend and I stick to my budget, but it so sucks. I just wan to get my own place, a new car, and go out and have fun. Ugh.
That's it for now. I'm sure I could go on but I would rather not bore you. Hopefully tomorrow I can get more work done on my book. I may even write a poem to share in tomorrows blog. I have a few in the works.
Much Love
Heather

Stupid cops!
It's going to be a short blog. I am just frustrated with myself and stupid cops. Yes, stupid cops! Wanna know the story? Keep reading.
I was headed home from work, I had just got onto mainstreet and was almost home. I was behind a few cars, keeping up with the traffic and not paying attention to much of anything. I was in a really really good mood. I had plans of stuff I wanted to do when I got home and I wasn't as tired as I have been lately. It was a good day. It was cold, which I loved, and the sun was shinning.
Then I notice this really fancy, very pretty, black car. Then...blue lights. Yep, one of those fancy cop cars. And guess who was being pulled over! Yeah...that would be me. I was at the BACK of the line. All those cars were in front of me. NONE were even behind me! And I GET PULLED OVER!
The cop comes to my car and ask me if I knew why I was being stopped. I said "I'm guessing I was speeding?" Yep...I was speeding. BUT if I was speeding that means EVERYONE ELSE WAS TOO! So why did I get pulled over? I guess that is what I get for being the slower speeder?
So, he writes my ticket and comes back to the car and says "Okay, here is what I did for you." Like he is doing me some kind of big favor AFTER he decided to pick on me and pull me over. "I put down that you were going 10 over the speed limit, so that will bring your ticket down to 81 dollars and only two points off of your license." Gee, thanks officer. "We are not here to take your money, but I need you to slow down for me." Really? Why do I have to do ANYTHING for you when you just pulled me out of the crowd?! So I say thank you and take my ticket and drive off.
Yes...there were tears after the cop left. I cried on the way home and balled my eyes out when I told my parents. Why? I JUST GOT A TICKET! And the second one in two months. UGH! I just paid for a ticket back in December. The cop had the same speech then too, that he was cutting me a break. Which, at that time I was actually grateful because...I was speeding, very much so, and I was on an empty road. So yeah, I totally deserved the ticket that day.But today, I so did not deserve that! I was minding my own business and staying with traffic.
Now, my eyes burn, I have an 81 dollar ticket to pay and now my license is 4 points down. UGH COPS!
Sorry for all the capitalized letters. I'm just angry!

Sweet Dreams
I wake up in the mornings wondering what I am going to blog about that night. I look for things as the day passes. I watch for things that annoy the crap out of me or things that make me happy. And when nothing happens during the day I just fall back onto my wacky awesomeness to write something great...or weird. What ever you prefer to call it. I am jotting down notes all day though! One of the reasons why I love my phone because when I have a thought I just pull out my phone and make a new note. Then people think I am really popular and getting text messages all day. If they only knew.
This morning I didn't have to think so hard. As soon as I woke up I knew what I was going to blog about today. There was no question about it because I woke up smiling like an idiot and a little confused. Yeah, that is usually what most of my dreams do to me. So let's talk about dreams!
Last night I had a dream that I was back in school. Nooo!! Of all places, why school? But this was no ordinary school. It was a school full of adults and we were training for a job or something. I honestly have no idea. I some how got the great privilege of assigning jobs and making sure people got paid.
The funny thing is though, the job, was cleaning up a landfill behind the school. Crazy right? What is even crazier is I was getting paid 500 bucks a day (A DAY!) to clean up. It wasn't even that bad. But once the professor/teacher/boss/someone who really was no one caught on to how much we got paid as opposed to the people that were doing it for free, we all had to stay inside. No recess for us!
There was one guy that I remember the most from the dream. A guy my age that I went to school with in real life. But I have not seen him since 7th grade so it was weird that he popped up into my dream. It was his fault that we didn't get paid that day because he tried to get more money for what we were doing. I should smack him if I ever see him again.
So what did all of the overpaid garbage people do on their day off? We sat in a classroom, cleaning out our desk and coloring. Just like I did in high school. Only, the best part of it all, I had glittery markers! Oh yeah, I was the awesome kid.
My dream made no sense. None at all. But it was fun and that is why I woke up smiling. It was just pure fun. No drama, no one was even mad at the guy that outed how much money we made. We just had time to chill. We had no worries. It was one of the best dreams ever!
I like dreams like that. I hate the drama filled ones. You know the ones. The ones where you meet a really cute guy and you fall instantly in love with him. Then all of a sudden you completely forget about the guy you have been crushing on for years and the guy that was stupid and shot you down. All you can think about is the gorgeous, blue eyed, long haired god sitting in front of you. And then...the alarm clock wakes you up just as the hottie was going to confess his love for you. After that you spend your whole day bummed because you had to wake up and leave Mr. Hottie all alone.
Don't worry, he will move on to the next lonely girls dream. *Sigh*
Much Love
